Nikolaos Doulamis

Nikolaos Doulamis received the diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA with the highest score, as well as the PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from NTUA. She worked at the Image, Video and Multimedia Laboratory of NTUA as a research assistant. His doctoral thesis was supported by the Bodossaki Foundation scholarship. From 2005-2008, has been a visiting professor at NTUA. He is now a Professor at NTUA since 2021. Prof. Doulamis was awarded as the best Greek student in engineering at national level by TEE. He received the award for Best Diploma Thesis in the field of electrical engineering. During his studies he also received many awards from NTUA, the National Scholarship Foundation and the Technical Chamber of Greece and received the NTUA medal as the best young engineer. He is the author of more than 420 articles in the field of signal analysis/processing, TN, pattern recognition, ETN. He is ranked among the 2% of the best scientists in Greece based on the Stanford index and is on the permanent list and the list of researchers of the most influential Reserarch.com. He is coordinator and scientific coordinator in more than 25 major European projects such as H2020 YADES (coordinator), ENVIROMED, Horizon URBeath, INCISIVE, euPOLIS (Coordinator), Horizon Ploto, Horizon OCEANIS, Horizon Nethelix. In total, he has participated in more than 80 European or national projects. He is associate editor of high-impact journals such as Sensors MPDI, Remote Sensing MDPI, Multimedia tools and Applications Spinger and participates as a committee member of many international conferences in the region (over 150 international conferences). He has received in his work 13880 citations with h-index=51 and i10-index =186.
