Andreas Efstratiadis

Andreas Efstratiadis (Civil Engineer, MSc, PhD) is Associate Professor in Hydropower Works & Renewable Energy Systems, in the Department of Water Resources and Environmental Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens. He has long-time teaching, research and engineering experience in water resources engineering, water-energy systems design and management, stochastics and hydroinformatics (simulation, optimization, calibration, uncertainty assessment, multicriteria analysis). He is author of 57 journal papers, 140 conference publications, and 7 book chapters (over 350 scientific, academic, and technological publications, receiving >3800 citations). From 2104 to 2022, he was Associate Editor in Hydrological Sciences Journal. He has participated in about 100 research projects and consulting studies, national and international, and contributed to the development of innovative software for a variety of environmental applications, including stochastic models, decision support systems, and simulation-optimization algorithms.
